Parrotdog have recently taken to naming their beers after real people. Tina is no exception. According to the can; Tina “tended her garden with the care of a master horticulturist” and always searched for that “revolutionary hybrid”. This IPA honors her by doing the same – using the Nectaron hop – a new variety created and launched by NZ Hops last year which is quoted as having intense tropical fruit flavors. That it does. That it does in spades.
This is a refreshing ale that allows the Nectaron to flow in all its glory, complementing and guiding it with the right balance of barley and wheat.
The tropical overtones let you float away to warmer climes while each sip teases and tantalises the palate.
Savour each swig of this one because before you know it the Pint is up and you are left wanting more.
